ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT PRICES

kwalletmanagerThe price of an acupuncture treatment depends on many factors. Generally, the cost of one acupuncture treatment in Poland should not be less than 40 PLN, and in the foreign countries equivalent to 50-60 EUR.

The standard price in cities such as Warsaw, Poznań, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Lublin sometimes reaches an amount of 100 PLN for acupuncture service, which in our opinion, is a large amount.

In the United States for a treatment performed by a specialist medical doctor or doctor of traditional Chinese Mongol medicine, one has to pay the amount of 100-300 USD.

In Germany,  we will have to pay for an acupuncture treatment from 50 to 120 Euros.

For comparison, in China, an acupuncture treatment for a foreigner costs 10-20 USD, while a specialist of the best acupuncture school in Beijing performs treatment in a price equivalent to 50 USD per service.

In our view, a reasonable cost in Poland is in the range between 50 and 60 PLN per treatment (approx. 30 min) in Poland, and the already mentioned from 50 to 60 Euro abroad.

This price applies only to the standard services of acupuncture on the body, and not specialized treatments like: acupuncture for the ears (the anti-nicotine treatments or slimming aid treatments.)

The price of acupuncture service does not cover, in most cases the needles needed for performance of the treatment (currently used are only disposable needles), and making any medical diagnosis stating the validity of the performance of acupuncture treatments.

PRICES OF NEEDLES

koszykExample prices of disposable acupuncture needles are from 0.50 PLN to 2 PLN per unit. Prices depend on:

  • quality of the needle,

  • sterility level (double-sterilized disposable needles are recommended),

  • length,

  • material which the needle is made of (metal, silver, gold, platinum.)

The treatment uses a different number of needles from 10 to 20 per treatment. Thus, the expenditure on an acupuncture treatment when it comes to the needle is on average 7.5 PLN. This amount should be added to the price of the treatment.

def-akupunktura Acupuncture (from Lat. Acus - Needle, Puncture - (u) stinging), is one of the therapies included in the system of traditional Chinese medicine that originated over 5000 years ago and today is valued around the world.

This system is based on the philosophy by which the energy flows within the body called Qi by the ancients, placed into circulation by 12 invisible channels called. meridian.

"Controlling the flow of Qi energy" to today's knowledge of medicine, as well as individual beliefs of every person, can be treated as a metaphor, but nevertheless very useful when it comes to draw the relevant acupuncture points on the diagram.

The human body is a single system, so local lesions of at least one organ can affect the whole organism.

Diagnostic methods used in traditional Eastern medicine include some basic techniques that professionals use to diagnose the patient and which, although based almost exclusively on medical knowledge and the senses are always effective.

Usually they consist of careful observation of the patient - his face, tongue and eyes and touch test (pulse and most of the spine), without requiring the use of expensive equipment.
