Acupuncture is one of the methods developed thousands of years ago by the ancient doctors from China and Mongolia to help develop a system of natural medicine and Eastern Europe. Today, acupuncture is used in the treatment of various diseases and dysfunctions of the pains of varying severity and origin.
Although the origins of this method sees in today's China and Mongolia on the assumption that there are about 5000 - 7000 years, archaeological research suggests that it may be even older, as indicated by finds of flint with a population of needles 10 000 years, which the ancients probably used the doctors in their therapies. Art of acupuncture over the years has developed within the eastern regions, and the men of scientists, explorers and missionaries helped to spread this teaching in Korea and Japan, and finally, in remote areas of Western Europe. Before this happened, different varieties of acupuncture have been practiced in the areas of the former Roman Empire, and Egypt. In the seventeenth century modern world learned about acupuncture through the Jesuit Michael Boym - Papal envoy at the court of the Emperor of China, and in the nineteenth century, this technique has often been described in the work of doctoral students of medicine at the Jagiellonian University. After a temporary stagnation in this field, in the twentieth century the Western world to the newly discovered acupuncture by American journalists living in China, tracking the progress of politicians on the grounds of diplomatic relations with the United States. In the seventies in Poland, thanks to prof. Garnuszewskiego established in Warsaw the Capital Center for Acupuncture, which has contributed to spreading the teachings of this method in the whole of our country.
At present, acupuncture was able to gain widespread recognition among scientists of many countries in Europe and America, and the World Health Organization (WHO), found it to be a safe therapy, yielding results and which might have been used both in the voluntary and self-healing process. It has been proven that acupuncture can be used to treat all sorts of ailments, in spite of its universality is subject to doubt - as therapy can cure headaches, anxiety, help get rid of smoking addiction, and in addition lose weight? The list seems to have no end ... However, taking into account that for thousands of years, this method help many people return to health, there is nothing else like us to believe in ancient Taoist philosophy. According to them under the skin there is a grid, described in more than 1,000 acupuncture points on the body surface combines them with all the internal organs. Energy (Qi), which takes place in the so-called circulation. harmonizes with all the meridians of the body systems, and its proper conduct is a guarantee of good health. If in some way it is distorted (which can affect even an inappropriate way of life), there is a disease.
Acupuncture points and their specific use was discovered for millennia, and now have the opportunity to draw on knowledge of ancient sages, we can use them in a natural way of treating various ailments. This is, of course, beyond the philosophical and logical explanation - for the correct operation of all our organs need a systematic delivery of sufficient oxygen, the man comes to them with blood. Sticking needles stimulates blood flow, allowing oxygen and nutrients to the water runs all the organs of the body, which ensures its sustainability, and further strengthens its natural ability to self-healing (the ancients would say - self-healing). Knowledge and experience of Chinese and Tibetan doctors, in addition to acupuncture, they still have much to offer Western medical methods typical, hence it can be enriched by more efficient, and at the same non-invasive methods of treatment - as long as it is ready to receive them.
