Generally speaking, there are no absolute contraindications for the use of acupuncture. Therefore, this procedure, if performed by an experienced specialist in this area is always safe. Reviews by which acupuncture should not be performed if the patient's conditions such as: age over 65 years, menstruation, pregnancy, cancer, infectious disease, severe general state of health, or skin diseases are not real!
There are no contraindications to the use of traditional acupuncture as a pacemaker (in this case should not be done electro - acupuncture, and while modern starters should not be affected by electrical stimulation, the majority of patients and their doctors probably would decide not to test the theory).
