What does the acronym GMO? The abbreviation comes from the English name of the food / GMO: Genetically Modified Organism. Article 3 of the Act of 22 June 2001 on genetically modified organisms [1] GM gives us this definition as follows: organism other than humans, in which genetic material has been altered in a way that does not occur naturally by mating or natural recombination. What is this genetic modification of plants? Scientists instill in plant genes foreign genes derived both from other plants, as well as animals! This is a brutal interference in the rights of nature over which no one really there. Click here to view the presentation on genetic modification in agriculture .
