Due to the popularity of alternative medical systems in the West, many doctors are beginning to expand its specialty of unconventional forms of therapy. These are, briefly speaking, all methods, which mainstream Western medicine is not making the usual treatment.
Many people have met up with terms such as homeopathy or herbal medicine, and perhaps even sometimes wondered if it would be better not to replace their existing forms of therapy, especially that used by these medications fail. Heard a lot about complementary or alternative forms of treatment, but rather what would be different from those that we use in patients. However, knowledge about them among our specialists and the society is yet very small, hence so many people are suspicious of approaches to the eastern ways of therapy, not to mention the fact that the negative opinions about them are mainly expressed by ' authorities' health-care, and where the heart is by no means the health of patients, but the profits that guarantees the sale of pharmaceuticals.

Human interest in herbs dates from time immemorial. Plants, minerals and raw materials of animal origin constitute the basic components of the first medicines of mankind. The discovery in 1973 by MA HUANG DUI in Hunan province of medical records dating from approximately the second century BC, gives evidence that the origins shrouded in legend, traditional Chinese medicine derived from thousands of years. Discovered the manuscripts suggest that the herbs and potions made from them were recommended to patients by doctors then migrating rural and indigenous shamans, herbalists, even during 403-221 BC. They were also the Taoist philosophers-doctors, who also authored the classic texts on medicine, who were engaged in the treatment of diseases and ailments of the aristocracy. Chinese Medicine at that time was inextricably linked with the philosophy and religion. Wu Bing, Fang SM, one of the manuscripts discovered, contained a list 224, and a description of medicinal plant substances, which were prepared syrups, tinctures and elixirs and medicinal powders, is also an important Taoist text, rich in spiritual wisdom.

Therapeutic options for the treatment of cancer are many. One of them may be the choice of complementary alternative therapy, which refers to medical products and practices that are not part of standard therapy and which is used as a complement.
Such methods, such as acupuncture may delay the development of existing tumors, or significantly alleviate the disease by eliminating nausea, headaches and other effects of biased treatment of cancer. Cancer is generally a group of cells, uncontrolled by the body and the growing without limit, and at the same time benefiting from its resources and depriving it of nutrients. In some cases (as in the tumor within the cranial cavity) diseased cells take the place of healthy tissues, not just poisoning your body with their metabolites, but not exerting the mechanical pressure.
